Divine Spells of Mythras
Cleric Spells: Clerics of Mythras follow many of the same rules as normal clerics. Instead of choosing a deity, clerics choose a patron saint during character generation. This is the saint that the cleric most highly reveres. Perhaps he is named for this saint, or perhaps he was trained at a church named for this saint. In any case, the cleric’s divine spells flow from God and Mythras while his domain spells flow from God and are shaped by his devotion to his saint. The saints of Mythras are detailed here.
Saint Name: Most Mythraean’s receive a Saint Name when they are made full members of the church. After one hour of devout prayer, your character gains the Saint Name Power listed under the saint’s description (see Saints of Mythras) until midnight of that day.
Patron Saint: Many non-clerics and carry a holy symbol to a particular saint. This usually takes the form of a small medal, prayer card, or figurine. After one hour of devout prayer using the holy symbol, non-clerics may cast one patron saint domain spells listed in the saint’s description as if they were a cleric of a level equal to their character level (so a 7th level fighter would cast the domain spells as a 7th level cleric, gaining access to the 4th level domain spells). The casting time for all patron saint domain spells is 1 minute per spell level + the listed casting time. This power is usable once per day. Non-clerics do not gain the granted power from a patron saint domain.
